The Technology Club exists to provide opportunities for the students of Windward High School to explore, experiment and learn about computer hardware, networks, operating systems and application software. It is our express purpose to find opportunities to serve our community - both the school community and the greater Ferndale community - with our computer technology knowledge.
Past Club Activities:
Designed and built 18 new PC's for a Middle School Technology Education lab. (Funded by a Service Learning Grant)
Refurbished 8 donated computers for the Boys & Girls Club of Ferndale.
Refurbished donated computers for students of Windward HS who do not have a computer at home.
Sponsored a virtual tour of DigiPen Institute of Technology.
Sponsored a field trip to DigiPen Institute of Technology and Microsoft Corp. in Redmond, WA.
Held a Linux Install party -- installing Linux operating systems on spare student PC's.
Refurbished donated computers for use in the WHS science department.
Tech Club meets every other Wednesday from 2:30pm until 4:30pm.
