Oy. This isn't my first web page. I'm really just playing along because I'm in class and I'm supposed to be doing the basics. You can expect more from me later as time passes. Maybe.
My current obsessions are Final Fantasy and the anime/manga Naruto. My favorite characters from Final Fantasy are Nanaki (aka Red XIII) and Cloud (because he has the coolest motorcycle ever, and it is named Fenrir). For the movie Advent Children, Sean Connery was asked to Voice Nanaki's single line: "There are yet more children sick with the geostigma..." Connery declined, however, and someone else got the role. I wanted Connery to take it because I always pictured Nanaki having a deep voice and some kind of lisp (He is more animal than human in looks) but the guy they got to do voices had neither, and gave Nanaki a breathy alto voice. I prefer the japanese seiyu (voice actor) because he just made Nanaki sound better.
I played through all of FFVII : DoC to see the ending sequence and Nanaki's only appearance. I played seventy-two hours and thirteen minutes to watch a two and a half second segment where Nanaki is sprawled out on the porch of the bar (where Tifa, Barret and Marlene work/live) in the sun. He yawns. It's adorable; he reminds me of my dog star and my cat sabrina. Those seventy two hours were more than worth it.
My favorite Naruto character is... I don't really have one. If I had to choose I'd say Tsunade and or the Legendary three in general... they're hillarious. I swear, Kishimoto-san is never going to run out of Tsunade jokes, and her beating up Jiraiya never gets old. I'm not touching those jokes with a ten-foot pole. Oh, man... funny stuff there. As for Orochimaru, he's not as funny. But still funny. Kishimoto-san left that one up to the fans. Ooh, I have a picture from the manga below. Orochimaru is the boy with really long hair and chalk white face, Tsunade is the girl, and Jiraiya is the boy with spiky white hair. The snake is Manda, Katsuyu is the slug, and Gamabunta is the toad. They're all about twelve years old in this picture. All characters (Jiraiya, Tsunade, Orochimaru, Manda, Gamabunta, Katsuyu) copyright Kishimoto-san.

I listen to all forms of rock music as well as various Disney songs (You know, like from The Lion King and stuff.) I also like Symphonic Rock and Goth rock, mostly from the band Within Temptation. But really I don't care as long as it's not rap and the person can actually sing.
My hobbies are reading Naruto, watching Advent Children (I'm trying to memorize the script in Japanese because I'm bored out of my mind. I also like messing with pictures on Adobe Photoshop Elements (3.0!) and drawing from scratch.
Also, I finished my first novel this summer... but I have yet to print it out. I don't have 200 something pieces of printer paper which means I'm out of luck for now. Don't ask to be my editor. That's my book group's job; not yours. More about me can be found here .
Some of my favorite things as a list in case you didn't read the above paragraphs... (In which case, grr!)
- Naruto (I hate Sasuke. He's the stupidest character ever. My favorite episode is episode 101, where team seven spends the whole episode trying to find out what's under their sensei's mask.)
- Final Fantasy VII (*Fangirl squeal* Yay Nanaki!)
- Digital Arts (like photoshop)
- Writing (I finished my first book this summer)
- Ron Perlman (My favorite actor. He was in quest for fire and played Hellboy in Hellboy. The best role he's ever taken, in my opinion, was the voice of Slade in the animated Teen Titans series. He portrayed the character perfectly.)
- Katsuyu and Tsunade (From Naruto; Tsunade is a person and Katsuyu is her giant slug friend. Tsunade is the leader of the ninja village of the hidden leaf (Konohagakure/Ko no Ha ga Kure) and Katsuyu is the queen of all slugs. Tsunade also has a pet pig, named Tonton.)
- Orochimaru and Manda (From Naruto; Orochimaru is a person (?) and Manda is his giant Snake accomplice. They're both bad guys, but we only ever really see manda once and Tsunade kicks his butt, then kicks Orochimaru's butt. That was a good episode.)
- Jiraiya and Gamabunta (From Naruto; Jiraiya is a person and Gamabunta is his giant frog buddy. Jiraiya and Gamabunta seem to have been friends for around fifty years and fight together. Gamabunta, whose name means boss frog, blows flammable oil out and Jiraiya breaths fire and they make a huge wave of flaming Oil.)
- Cloud Strife's (From FFVII: Advent Children) Motorcycle, Fenrir. I love it very much because it's shiny and goes very fast. Also, it hase six hidden compartments for Cloud's buster swords.
These are my least favorite things.
- Sasuke Fangirls/Sasuke
- Kabuto Fangirls/Kabuto
- Professional Wrestling
- Josiah
- Todd James Clarenbach
- People who take Fanon as Canon

From left to right, Nanaki, Yuffie, and Tifa. Also, the cat-like thing on Nanaki's head is named Cait Sith (pronounced Kayt-shee). He's a self proclaimed fortune telling robot. Nanaki only looks like a lion... he's not. He's actually the last of an ancient race of beings blessed with great intelligence and longetivity. He is forty-seven, the equivelent of a sixteen or seventeen year old person. He can talk and everthing, even use magic by howling at the stars! He wears a feathered headdress in his mane, but you can't see it in this picture. If you want to see more of these characters, Google Image search the phrase "Final Fantasy VII."
This is the Metroid Prime herself from the Metroid Video game Series. (I don't care what you say, it totally blows Halo out of the water. Samus could kick Master Chief's Butt in her sleep.) Sure the metroid prime is the bad guy, but I still love her for her ethereal charm and semi-sentience. She feeds by consuming the radioactive element phazon or by latching onto other lifeforms and draining them of their energy. She hovers in the air, but she probably weighs about the same as a full grown human. I'm not sure she's female, I'm not even sure she has a gender, but I still get a femenine vibe.
This is Tenten. She's a character from Naruto, but she never gets the spotlight. I took some line art from the manga and colored it in adobe photoshop elements, then decided there was too much detail, so I used the cutout filter and I came up with this. Actually, I really like it.Tenten is one of my favorite characters because of her fighting style; she's a weapons master, and she can effectively use any weapon imaginable. In this picture, she'd holding a scroll. She uses them to summon her various tools because carrying them around would be way too hard. Her main attack is called Rising Twin Dragons, and she throws some hundred items from her arsenal at the enemy. She's supposed to be chinese, but they never actually say it in the manga, though it does for sure take place in Japan (there are even references to America and english). Tenten's name is derived from a Panda's name... Tiantian, and they're pronounced pretty much the same way. It was really hard to find a picture of her without at least on of her kunai. It took me forever.
