Service Learning

WHS is a member of the Service Learning Network and is assisted by the Coalition of Essential Schools Northwest to plan and implement service learning projects. Funding for the projects is made possible through a federal Learn and Serve grant. The projects are desinged to empower students so that they can fufill a specific need in the community while learning core curriculum.
